The Latest Information Regarding Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae: MISMO Based Interface

In recent months, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae have made several announcements regarding the new loan delivery data requirements for the Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD). These new provisions are a key component of the increased standardization efforts under the Uniform Mortgage Data Program.

On December 14, 2011, both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae announced an extension to the ULDD implementation dates.

Lenders may submit the ULDD file on or after April 23, 2012 (previously 1/23/2012). Lenders who submit electronically must deliver the ULDD data points using the MISMO XML file format for loans delivered to either Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae on or after July 23, 2012 (previously 3/19/2012).
