FIPCO’s Financial Link software excels at being compliance driven. However, when financial institutions have made “creative improvements” with the admin settings, huge compliance issues are the result.

With your system administrator, an internet connection and a few hours, our experienced staff will offer suggestions on changes that can be made to help keep your financial institution in compliance.
How do you know if changes to your Admin are causing compliance issues? Here are a few examples of areas that shouldn’t be changed by our software users:
- Changing fee and prepaid names or changing their order in FL Loans and Mortgage
- Not keeping deposit products current with new fees or requirements in FL Deposits
- Setting form defaults instead of letting the software do the work. The HELOC is a common example
- Officers have changed titles or left employment
- Users who no longer need access to the software but are still considered users within it
- Changing customer types from those that are defaulted and programmed
- Not keeping current with Admin changes that are part of the updates and releases
It is critical for your compliance that these and other Admin areas be managed in accordance with your license agreement and instructions from FIPCO. Making unauthorized changes to Admin will put your software out of compliance and is a violation of the license agreement with FIPCO.
