Interfaces allow integration with a variety of other automated systems. The Financial Link® suite of products interface with many systems. The benefits include increased productivity, reduced repetitive data entry, timely access to information and elimination of costly errors.
Host interface Information
There are two types of interfaces to meet your needs: standard on-line interfaces and batch-mode interfaces. Interface functionality may include download, upload and maintenance features.
Download enables you to quickly retrieve data from electronic sources outside the documentation origination system. This information is helpful in your sales, credit decision and origination process.
Upload enables you to establish new deposit and/or loan accounts and new customer records in your host accounting system by transferring the necessary data from your doc prep system. This streamlines the new account process by eliminating the need to re-key data already captured in the origination system. Where allowed by the host system, the process will be performed online and in a real time mode, making the new account available at the host system immediately.
Customer information maintenance capability is available only for host systems that permit this function as part of their interface. It typically applies only to customer name, address and demographic data, and only when existing customers apply for additional accounts. This feature provides an opportunity to keep your host data current with changes detected when the existing customers apply for the additional accounts.
For host system interface information, please contact your FIPCO® account executive at FIPCO Sales.
Non-Host Interfaces
MMS 32™
By using this software product, your financial institution can see significant savings when items such as temporary checks, loan proceed checks or loan coupons are printed in-house. MMS 32 allows you to generate checks and loan coupon books, as well as a variety of other MICR items, in minutes while maintaining your high level of customer service. In addition, the interface provides convenience since multiple data fields transfer from the loan, deposit and mortgage modules to eliminate duplicate entry.
Mortgagebot
FIPCO and Mortgagebot have partnered to give you easy access to the award-winning, Web-based PowerSite® family of solutions, which automates the online mortgage application process enterprise-wide, in every business channel: consumer-direct via the Internet, in the branch or call center, or through professional loan officers. FIPCO has developed an interface from Mortgagebot to Financial Link® Loans and/or Mortgage.
Mortgage Import
FIPCO's Mortgage Import Interface imports loan information into Financial Link® Mortgage and/or Loans from a data file in the standard DU3.2 format. The overall process begins with data entered into the source program. The source program exports this data to a data file in the DU3.2 format. The Mortgage Import interface reads the data file from your network and formats the data before pushing it into Financial Link. Once this is complete, the loan is available in Financial Link for review, editing, and adding data for loan documentation.
Office of Foreign Asset Control Interface (OFAC)
The data is obtained from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Web site. The OFAC site is checked on a daily basis and changes are made to update the OFAC database. An updated database is emailed to any banks using this interface. Financial Link® can be configured to check each customer in the current database as it is updated. If a "hit" occurs, a screen will notify the bank and a printed report will give the details of the hit. All name and address combinations are checked. This interface is available for the Loan, Deposit and Mortgage modules.
Kroll Factual Data Interface
Kroll Factual Data provides web-based credit reporting services using Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax reporting agencies. They can provide a credit report in an easy-to-read format that contains reports from one or all three credit bureaus. Kroll Factual Data can also return a FICO score and an OFAC check with each bureau. Once the Kroll Factual Data report is received, the liability information is extracted from the report and populates the liability screen in Financial Link® Loans and Mortgage. It also interfaces with the deposit module.
A Flood Certification Module is also available and interfaces with the Financial Link® Loans and Financial Link® Mortgage products. For additional information and pricing on the flood module, please contact Scott Cochran of Kroll Factual Data at 1-800/929-3400 ext. 377.
eCommerce ManagerTM (eCMTM)
eDominateTM launched eCommerce ManagerTM or eCMTM, an interactive online lending, marketing and customer service portal that can increase your financial institution's loan portfolio, deposits, and profitability. eCM allows for the online origination of consumer, commercial and mortgage loans and deposits. FIPCO offers interfaces to import data from eCM's Consumer loan, Deposit and Mortgage modules to Financial Link® Loans, Deposits and Mortgage. The interface includes a user manual and detailed help docs available on-screen. FIPCO provides a walk through training during installation.
eFunds/ChexSystems
ChexSystems fights account abuse and fraud. This is the electronic version of the standard Chex Systems service that many have used for years. It's a comprehensive account opening service from eFunds that assists in identifying applicants whose accounts have been closed for cause and who therefore may have a propensity for DDA abuse. The eFunds interface is available for Financial Link® Deposits. This is a web service and requires a static IP address for the bank's Internet provider for security purposes.
Baker Hill Interface
This product is called "Bank 2 Business" (B2B). The loan officer completes the entire application within B2B and then downloads the information into Financial Link® Loans. Imported information includes: CIF, guarantors, loan calculation, collateral, and signer information. This is a commercial scoring product that uses the Fair Isaac Decision Engine.
Fair Isaac Interface
This interface is transparent to the user and the Fair Isaac web site is never viewed during loan processing. The interface provides communication with the Fair Isaac Consumer Credit Scoring Package, called Liquid Credit. CIF and income information are submitted, and a credit score, application score, debt to income ratios and credit bureau report are returned. Interfaces for Financial Link® Loans and Financial Link® Mortgage are available.
Check Ordering Interfaces
Financial Link® Deposit provides interfaces to the online check ordering system of TGI, Harland, Deluxe and Check Printers. When the customer service representative completes entering account information, they click the "Check Printing Interface" button within Financial Link® Deposit. This launches the Check Printing check ordering website and automatically populates the site with the customer and account information. The check ordering is then completed from the "Check Printing Interface" Web site. This can be done before or after documents are printed from Financial Link® Deposit.
Calyx
Calyx Point is a complete point-of-sale windows software system, which connects loan officers and processors to lenders and service providers, such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. While FIPCO is not a reseller of Calyx Point software, our Calyx interface to Financial Link® Mortgage and Loans will increase productivity by eliminating costly errors that result from duplication of data entry.
HMDA and CRA Interfaces
Financial Link® Loans and Mortgage gather all the information you needed to interface to your HMDA and CRA reporting software.
